Eco
In the deanery there are opportunities to worship in nature already happening. There are a few churches with forest church/muddy church/wild worship services and congregations happening regularly. These meetings happen outside and seek to help the congregation engage with the natural world and the God of creation. They are generally very family-friendly with interactive activities for children and adults alike. We also have many churches throughout the deanery who have achieved some level of A Rocha UK Eco church award scheme. If you are interested in going along to a wild worship service, starting your own, or would like more information on how to become a more eco-friendly church, do get in touch.
